IPad3 vs Galaxy Tab 10.1 – Comparison between the Two


It is well known in the market that Samsung and Apple are the equal competitors of each other. Nowadays competition is going on between Apple’s iPad3 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both the two tabs of Apple and Samsung are just superb due to which customer generally gets confused whether to go for Apple or Samsung. Here are some of the differences between the two based upon their specifications.
Display of the tab
Apple’s iPad3 is slightly heavier than Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 9.7 inches of LED-back lit IPS TFT capacitive touch screen. On the other hand Galaxy tab 10.1 consists of 10.1 inches of PLS TFT capacitive touch screen.
Bluetooth Connectivity
 As we all know that Samsung and Apple are the solid competitors of each other, iPad3 shows a strong Bluetooth connectivity with other devices. Apple’s iPad3 supports Bluetooth of version 4.0 with A2DP whereas Galaxy Tab 10.1 supports Bluetooth of version 3.0 with A2DP.
Camera: -
As compared to Galaxy Tab 10.1, iPad3 of Apple supports high quality of camera. IPad3 supports 5 MP of primary camera with features like touch focus, face detection, etc and secondary camera as VGA camera which helps in video calling. On the other hand Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 supports 3.15 MP of primary camera and 2 MP of secondary camera.

Additionally iPad3 of Apple supports iOS version 5.1 with Dual-Core 1GHz of Cortex-A9 processor whereas Galaxy Tab 10.1 supports Android OS of version 3.1 with Dual-Core 1 GHz of Cortex-A9 processor. Although Galaxy tab 10.1 support features like Java and GPS, all these features are not present in iPad3.
