Apart from iPad, Apple is also known well in the market for its iPhone. The latest release of Apple’s iPhone 4S is the modified version of iPhone 4. But nowadays, Sony is also grabbing market with its new Xperia acro S. Both the two handsets of Apple and Sony are slightly differ from each other.
1. Data Storage and Bluetooth Connectivity: - iPhone 4S supports up to 16/32/64 GB of internal storage with 512 MB of RAM. On the other hand Sony’s Xperia acro S supports microSD up to 32 GB and 16 GB of internal storage with 1 GB of RAM. Apple’s iPhone 4S also shows a good Bluetooth connectivity. It supports Bluetooth of version 4.0 with A2DP whereas Xperia acro S of Sony supports Bluetooth of version 3.0 with A2DP.
2. Display features: - As compared to Sony’s Xperia acro S, iPhone 4S of Apple is slightly heavier. It has 3.5 inches of LED-backlit TFT capacitive touch screen with high resolution of 640*960 pixels. On the other hand, Xperia acro S of Sony has 4.3 inches of LED-backlit LCD capacitive touch screen with 720*1280 pixels of resolution.
3.Camera: - iPhone 4S has primary camera of 8 MP with a high resolution of 3264*2448 pixels. It also supports VGA camera as secondary camera which is used in video calling. Similarly, Xperia acro S has a primary camera of 12 MP with a very high resolution of 4000*3000 pixels. It also supports secondary camera of 1.3 MP.
4. Battery: - Apple’s iPhone 4S supports standard Li-Po battery which gives a strong battery backups of up to 200 h in stand by and 40 h in music play mode. On the other hand, Sony’ Xperia acro S supports standard Li-Lon battery which gives a high battery backups up to 290 h in standby mode and 23 h in music play mode.
Additionally, iPhone 4S supports iOS 5 which can be upgradable up to iOS 5.1 with 1 GHz of Dual-Core Cortex-A9 processor whereas Xperia acro S supports Android version 4.0 with 1.5 GHz of Dual-Core Scorpion processor. It also supports Java with MIDP emulator which are not supported by iPhone 4S.
